UK Jewish Film Festival 2026: British-Jewish Life on Film + Q&A
About
A UK Jewish Film Festival screening of short films about British-Jewish life, followed by a Q&A.
This UK Jewish Film Festival programme brings together nine short films exploring British-Jewish life, from an interfaith family clash over a school Nativity casting in King of the Jews to a Leeds restaurant serving Kosher and Halal food in Fish, Chips & Faith. Other titles include Rambling, about the Pennine Wayfarers walking community, The Last Jewel, following an 89-year-old Hatton Garden antique jeweller, and The Goyfriend, a comedy about passing a non-Jewish boyfriend off at a Passover Seder. The screening is followed by a Q&A, with the running time including trailers, adverts and the discussion.
