A volunteer-led walk explains how Studley Royal’s designed water garden and the abbey ruins form part of the same World Heritage landscape.

The 90-minute guided tour follows the garden and abbey route, explaining the 18th-century landscape designed by the Aislabie family and the site’s World Heritage status. It meets at Porter’s Lodge and is scheduled twice daily through 1 November; volunteer availability can affect the daily tour schedule. Standard admission applies.
