Behind the Scenes Tour

Volunteer guides take visitors beyond Nunnington Hall’s public rooms to see rarely opened areas and collection objects normally kept out of sight.

Join a volunteer guide to visit spaces beyond the public rooms, encounter collection objects usually kept out of sight and hear how the Collections team preserves the Hall. The published dates are 20, 21, 27 and 28 October, with tours at 11:30am, 1pm and 2pm, each lasting 45 minutes. Sign up at visitor reception on the day; volunteer availability can vary. The tour costs £4 per person and standard venue admission is charged separately.
