About
Edinburgh's anarchic monthly open mic night at Typewronger Books, where performers of any act share a 90-minute stage divided equally.
Typewronger Books hosts its monthly open mic, where anything goes — comedy, music, poetry, short stories, film scripts and magic acts have all featured. The 90-minute running time is divided equally among performers who sign up between 7 and 7.30pm, with a bell 30 seconds before each set ends and a gong that performers cannot go past. The event runs from 7pm to 9pm in person at the Bruntsfield Place bookshop.
