Digital Creepy Creatures Camp (CSC180)

Create an animated creature and help make a short film during a two-day digital camp for ages 12–17.

Develop a character, creature and setting using 3D animation tools, then work with the group on a short film. Activities include digital sculpting, motion capture, script ideas, sound recording and editing using Unreal Engine and the Media Studio’s iMacs. Sonia Levesque leads the course, with a learning-support worker available. Suitable for all ability levels aged 12–17; parents are not expected to stay. Bring a USB memory stick and a packed lunch for the supervised one-hour break. The room is wheelchair accessible.
