The Museum is coming to Hellifield!
About
A free drop-in afternoon bringing the Museum of North Craven Life to Hellifield with objects to handle, family treasures, activities and storytelling.
While The Folly is closed for restoration, the Museum of North Craven Life team takes a pop-up afternoon to Hellifield Institute. Visitors can handle real museum objects, bring their own treasure to be photographed and recorded for the People's Collection, vote on future museum plans, and enjoy hands-on crafts such as badge-making and decorating a fabric square for a community exhibition. There is also a children's storytelling area, an activity trail around the hall, and the chance to chat with the team about local history and the restoration.
