Make and Take: Bubbling Cauldrons

Families can decorate a bubbling cauldron and invent a magical spell, drawing on objects in the museum collection and Shakespeare’s witches.

This drop-in family craft activity takes inspiration from the witches in Macbeth, a First Folio in Craven Museum, and Edward Frederick Brewtnall’s painting Visit to the Witch. Participants decorate a cauldron and choose ingredients, including objects inspired by local museum collections. Suitable for all ages; room capacity is limited.
