This one-day workshop is aimed at people who want to get more from their overlocker, a machine that can do far more than finish seams. Mary-Louise shares tips on threading the machine quickly and explains its parts and functions while participants create a range of practical samples. Attendees work with woven and jersey fabrics trying different stitch types and sewing techniques. Participants bring their own overlocker, manual, tools and a packed lunch; fabric and threads are supplied, and the class is limited to Juki, Britannia, Janome, Bernina and Brother machines.
