Horsekeeper Talks

Free drop-in talks at the Pony Discovery Centre where visitors can meet the museum's ponies Eric, Ernie, Aladdin and Bud.

Part of the National Coal Mining Museum's October half-term programme, these free drop-in sessions let visitors meet the museum's ponies Eric, Ernie, Aladdin and Bud at the Pony Discovery Centre. The team gives Horsekeeper talks at 12pm and shows what the ponies are fed at 2:30pm. Sessions run Wednesday to Sunday throughout the half-term period, as the museum is closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
