About
A covered outdoor ice rink in York's Museum Gardens open daily through the festive season, with skate aids, food and drink.
THOR'S on ICE is a new covered outdoor ice rink in York's historic Museum Gardens, running daily from late morning until late. The clear covering means skating continues rain or shine, with skate aids and penguin helpers available for beginners and children. Alongside the rink there is an Alpine Terrace serving mulled wine and German hot chocolates, Lucia's Après Bar with Italian cocktails, and food including churros, plus hourly snowfall displays.
