Pyrography: Christmas Baubles

Make a beech Christmas bauble using woodburning techniques in a festive workshop led by craft tutor Ruth Wheeler.

After practice exercises on a sample burn sheet, Ruth Wheeler demonstrates marks, shading and texture before guiding participants through sketching a design onto a beech bauble and burning it into the wood. Participants may leave it natural or add colour and festive sparkle. Other materials are provided; an own machine is optional, and extra baubles may be available to buy.
