About

Expert guided tours of Goddards, an early Edwin Lutyens house in Surrey with a Gertrude Jekyll garden, run by the Landmark Trust.

The Landmark Trust runs expert guided tours of Goddards, an Arts and Crafts house built by Edwin Lutyens between 1898 and 1900 and enlarged in 1910, with a garden designed in collaboration with Gertrude Jekyll. Tours last around an hour and take place on Wednesday afternoons at 2.30pm and 3.45pm, with advance booking required. Originally commissioned as a 'Home of Rest' for ladies of small means, the house is considered one of Lutyens' most important early works in the traditional Surrey style. A guidebook is available to purchase on the day.
