EM Lifedrawing: Black Heroes for Black History Month
About
A themed untutored life drawing session sketching Black heroes and superheroes, hosted during the Features From The Black exhibition.
Early Masterworks' untutored life drawing session marks Black History Month with a theme of Black heroes, superheroes and heroic storytelling, from Marvel's Black Panther and DC's Storm to real-world figures. The evening runs in two parts: quick warm-up sketches and dynamic comic-inspired compositions, followed by participants layering their own heroic narratives onto the page. It takes place alongside the Features From The Black exhibition at Firepit Art Gallery and is hosted by designer Rishabh Shukla. The session is untutored and open to all skill levels, running 2 hours 15 minutes for ages 18+.
