About
A drop-in community gardening volunteer session at Platt Hall with digging, weeding, planting and chat.
The Garden Project hosts Tuesday volunteer gardening sessions where participants can help with digging, weeding and planting, or simply drop in for fresh air and conversation. Sessions are open to anyone who lives or works in Rusholme, Moss Side, Fallowfield or Longsight, and people can stay for as long or as little as they like. All tools, gloves and training are provided, and there is a fully accessible toilet on site. Volunteers are asked to register in advance and wear covered shoes and clothes they don't mind getting dirty.
