About
An exhibition of patients’ experiences of illness and care, using historical records, objects, artworks and oral histories shaped with a patient advocacy group.
The exhibition brings together patients’ perspectives from different periods, considering healing and support alongside exclusion, resistance and failures of care. A patient advocacy steering group contributed artwork and oral histories and helped shape the programme. Free entry during museum opening hours; the museum normally opens Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm, with bank-holiday and published closure dates.
