About

A New Year’s Day steam running day with hourly trains, bacon and sausage buns, hot drinks and the station gift shop open.

Steam trains depart Ludborough at 10:45, 11:45, 12:45, 13:45 and 14:45. The published timetable gives a North Thoresby stop and return to Ludborough 40 minutes after each departure. All-day rover tickets are sold at the ticket office on arrival; free car parking is available at Ludborough. Bacon and sausage buns and hot drinks are available from the buffet, and the station gift shop is open. No advance booking is required.
