About

A festive train ride with Santa and his elves visiting every carriage; each child receives a gift and can visit the grotto and toy shop after the journey.

The Santa Special runs on 12, 13, 19, 20 and 21 December, with departures at 10:00, 12:00 and 14:00 from Ludborough. Santa and the elves visit each carriage, children receive a gold coin to choose a gift in the toy shop, and the visit concludes with Santa’s grotto. The source says the train journey takes just under an hour, so no exact return time is stated. On 21 December there is no carriage entertainment; on the other listed dates coaches A, B and D have entertainment and coach C is quiet. Advance booking is required.
