About

Four one-hour beginner embroidery sessions teach floral stitches inspired by Norman Hartnell’s designs for Queen Elizabeth II.

As part of LGBTQ History Month, participants decorate a printed patch using embroidery stitches, sequins and beads, then take it home. No prior experience is needed and materials are provided. Tutors are dress historian/curator Amy de la Haye and designer/educator Giles Pearson.
