About

A drop-in clay-making workshop inspired by Richard Slee's Sunlit Uplands, where participants create clay decorations using sprigging and mark making.

This relaxed, informal session invites adults and children aged 11 and over to experiment with clay in the museum's Clore Learning room. Taking inspiration from Richard Slee's Sunlit Uplands, participants make their own clay decorations, working in sprigging and mark making. No booking is needed — visitors can simply drop in between 11am and 3pm, with an additional charge for firing finished pieces.
