Late Night Tour at Castle Howard

A two-hour after-dark guided tour of Castle Howard's house, lit by artificial candlelight to evoke the pre-electric age.

Castle Howard's curators lead an atmospheric evening tour through the house's halls, corridors and stately rooms, recreating how the interiors looked before the electric age using artificial candlelight to protect the historic fabric. The tour lasts two hours and is wheelchair accessible, and tickets also include admission to the House and Gardens earlier in the day.
