Volunteering
About
GoodGym Bexley members help volunteer at the weekly Avery Hill parkrun, taking on roles such as marshals, barcode scanners and tail walkers.
GoodGym Bexley is organising a volunteering session at Avery Hill parkrun, the free weekly timed 5k held every Saturday morning in Avery Hill Park. Volunteers can take on roles including marshals, barcode scanners, finish token giver-outers and tail walkers, with some roles possible before or after running or walking the event. Participants earn a parkrun volunteer credit and a GoodGym good deed, and should register with parkrun and join the roster in advance. The session runs from 08:30 to 10:00, meeting near the park cafe.
