About
Folk ballad singer Jennifer Reid performs Chartist songs at the Silk Museum on Saturday 7 November 2026, from 2.30pm to 4pm. The performance connects the Chartist panel in the Macclesfield History Tapestry with the 1839 rally at nearby Park Green. Tapestry creators Becca Smith and Ailsa Holland introduce the performance, which is coordinated by the New Macclesfield School of Art.
