Once Upon a Time at Clitheroe Castle

A family Christmas pantomime in which fairy tale characters run riot around Clitheroe Castle, with songs, comedy and audience participation.

The Clitheroe pantomime returns for Christmas 2026 with a story in which fairy tale characters begin appearing all over town and chaos erupts around Clitheroe Castle, with decorations going missing and magic going wonky. The show promises songs, comedy, dazzling costumes and plenty of audience participation in the traditional panto style. Performances take place on Sunday 6 December at 11:00 and 15:00 with unreserved seating, and under-18s must be accompanied by an adult.
