About

An immersive projection show on Rye’s Town Model tells true stories of Rye people during the Second World War.

Projection mapping, light, sound and scent bring wartime Rye to life, with interviews and true stories from local people. The show traces the town’s experience within the wider South East, including coastal defences, blackout nights, bomb locations and the resilience of everyday families. The presentation lasts 35 minutes. English and English-subtitled versions are available, with an audio loop. Loud sounds, flashing lights and sensory effects feature.
