Stirling's Buried Street under the Thistles

A guided tour of Stirling's hidden medieval Dirt Raw street sealed beneath the Thistles, including access to a hidden section of the Thieves' Pot city wall.

Marking Stirling's 900th anniversary and Start Up Stirling's 30th year, this guided tour led by Dr Murray Cook explores the medieval Dirt Raw street sealed under the Thistles Shopping Centre more than 40 years ago. The tour also includes access to a hidden section of the Thieves' Pot, part of Stirling's City Wall built during the Rough Wooing. All proceeds go to Start Up Stirling; the tour may not suit those uncomfortable with tight, enclosed spaces, and appropriate footwear is required as some areas are uneven.
