About
A London Korean Film Festival screening of Kim Jin-yu's drama Journey There, followed by a Q&A with the director.
The London Korean Film Festival 2026 presents Kim Jin-yu's drama Journey There (2025, 124 mins), winner of the KBS Independent Film Award at the 30th Busan International Film Festival. The film follows recently widowed Chunhee, whose late husband's grand piano is taken in by her new neighbour, a conductor searching for his birth mother, as the pair and an orphaned piano prodigy briefly form a family unit. Concerned with mortality, grief and moving on, the screening is followed by a Q&A with director Kim Jin-yu.
