Make a recycled tin wreath!
About
A one-day metalwork workshop with Philippa Johnston making a decorative wreath from recycled biscuit tins.
Metalwork artist Philippa Johnston leads this rerun of a popular one-day workshop in which participants create a wreath from recycled biscuit tins. Attendees can go traditional with ivy, holly leaves, red berries and a bow, or choose a contemporary look with colourful flowers and leaves, wiring the pieces onto a strong wire base with no soldering required. All materials, tools and a wide choice of tins are supplied, with templates and examples for inspiration, though participants may bring their own tins and designs. The friendly, informal class runs six hours and is suitable for ages 18 and over, with no experience needed.
