Arco + Pre-film ‘Build Your Own Future’ Activity with RIBA

A family screening of the animated sci-fi film Arco with a free pre-film paper-crafting activity run by RIBA Learning.

This half-term family event pairs a screening of the animated sci-fi film Arco with a free drop-in activity from RIBA Learning. In the film, 10-year-old Arco, the youngest member of a family of time travellers living in the year 2932, sneaks off to explore alone and becomes stranded in 2075, where he befriends Iris, a girl supervised by robot technology, as extreme weather threatens their world. From 10am, Lil Adams and Edie Parfitt from RIBA lead a paper crafting activity inviting families to imagine a future city and design their dream building in a changing environment. The screening welcomes some movement and noise from young film fans, and books and games are available in the Cinema Café for children needing a break.
