Shrek the Musical

NE Theatre York stages the Tony Award-winning fairy tale musical Shrek the Musical over eleven performances in late November.

Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film, Shrek The Musical features songs by Jeanine Tesori and a book by David Lindsay-Abaire. The story follows an ogre who sets out on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess, meeting over a dozen fairy tale misfits along the way. The family-friendly show features costumes, sets and puppets including a fire-breathing dragon. Performances run at 7:30pm most evenings with 2:30pm matinees on Saturdays and Sundays.
