Inaugural Lecture with Professor Sylvie Delacroix
About
Professor Sylvie Delacroix examines how habits support critical agency and how digital environments can shape people’s ability to question and imagine alternatives.
Drawing on her work in law and ethics, Professor Sylvie Delacroix considers critical agency as an achievement supported by habits of thought and perception, and how digital environments can reshape those habits. She will discuss participatory infrastructure and ethical questions around AI. The lecture is followed by a drinks reception. KCL says the lecture is open to the wider public; the programme lists the lecture from 18:00 to 19:00 and reception from 19:00 to 20:00 in the Great Hall, King’s Building.
