Leadership Pathway Four - Leading for Impact (4 Sessions)
About
A four-session in-person leadership course for school leaders, exploring impactful leadership through research, discussion and a final impact presentation.
Led by Lorna Hamilton, CEO of The Primary First Trust, this pathway is aimed at growing and developing leaders, including school, central teams and non-teaching staff with significant leadership responsibility. Across four face-to-face two-hour workshops, participants examine the impact of their leadership on teams, contrasting leaders who 'rescue' with those who allow others to 'flourish', and learn when to step back and when to step forward. The course draws on worldwide research into impactful leadership and emphasises discussion of practice, practical strategies, reflective practice and refining new skills. In the final session, delegates present an impact presentation to the cohort in person, and attendance at all sessions is expected.
