Victorian Norwich Walking Tour

A two-hour guided walking tour exploring Victorian Norwich's architecture, industry and social history, led by Paul Dickson.

Paul Dickson leads a two-hour walking tour celebrating Norwich's 19th-century architecture, industry, shopping and culture, while also examining the poor housing conditions endured by the city's poorer residents. The route covers the growth of Colman's Mustard, Caley's Chocolate, Norwich Union and the shoe industry, and includes a visit to Bowhill and Elliott, slipper makers founded in 1874. The tour starts on the steps of The Forum and finishes at the art nouveau Royal Arcade.
