Crossing the Threshold: A New Year Celebration in Song and Dance
About
A six-day New Year retreat of song, dance, ritual and reflection led by Barbara Swetina and Jilani Cordelia at Findhorn.
Crossing the Threshold is a six-day residential New Year celebration weaving together song, dance, story, soul work and ritual, drawing on Findhorn and Sufi traditions. At its heart are the Dances of Universal Peace, blending live music with wisdom from world traditions. Days typically begin with optional Taizé singing and meditation, with programme sessions from around 10am until lunch and again from 4pm until dinner, plus evening sessions; New Year's Eve is celebrated in the Universal Hall. Participants stay in the Guest Lodge and can join community life, including meditation in the Light of Findhorn Sanctuary.
