About
A screening of the 1951 film Scrooge with a live reimagined score performed by the FB Pocket Orchestra.
Bridport Arts Centre screens the 1951 film Scrooge, starring Alastair Sim, with a newly orchestrated live score performed by the three-piece FB Pocket Orchestra. Richard Addinsell's original score has been reconstructed by Paul Stevenson through transcription by ear from the film soundtrack, allowing it to be performed live in its entirety for the first time. The 86-minute U-rated black-and-white film, directed by Brian Desmond Hurst, is presented as a festive outing suitable for all ages.
