Festival of Britain 75th Anniversary End of Project Celebration

A free community celebration marking the 75th anniversary of the Festival of Britain, with exhibitions, a youth-created VR game, poetry, 1950s-inspired jewellery and live music.

This closing event of the Festival of Britain: Poplar 2026 project invites visitors to step into Poplar's past and future at Feldy, Aberfeldy Square. The programme includes interactive exhibitions, a youth-created virtual reality game, poems to read, 1950s-inspired jewellery to try on and live music. Attendees can hear stories from 1951, share their hopes for the future and celebrate the people and places that shape Poplar today.
