About

Two days of heritage diesel traction and an intensive train service on the South Devon Railway.

The railway’s 2026 Diesel Gala runs on 7 and 8 November with its home fleet of preserved diesel locomotives and visiting locomotives. Confirmed locomotives include classes 09, 25, 33 and 60; 60022, named Ingleborough, is announced as a visitor. Both main train sets have buffet and bar service, with hot food available to buy on board. The operator says further details will follow.
