Guided Walk – Achtercairn

Volunteer guide Jeremy Fenton leads a two-hour walk along the Achtercairn Archaeology Trail to explore early structures and settlements behind the museum.

The museum describes a route of about two miles over rough paths and says a good level of fitness is needed. Participants meet at the museum welcome desk at 13:20; the walk runs 13:30–15:30. It is free, with donations welcome. Booking is by phone or email to the museum. The October month page lists Saturdays; only its two remaining October dates are included here.
