A half-term trail invites visitors to spot handmade scarecrows across the museum grounds, with a Once Upon a Time theme.

The museum invited local entrants to make a scarecrow around the theme Once Upon a Time. Entries were due by 19 October; the trail and judging are scheduled for 29 October, and makers may collect their scarecrow for Halloween. The trail is listed across 26–30 October. Participation by makers is free by arrangement with the museum; visitors need the museum’s general admission ticket to enter the site.
