Autumn Apple Weekend

A two-day autumn programme of hand-powered apple pressing and juice blending with Finn Varney, garden tours, apple-pruning demonstrations, a pumpkin trail and local artisan craft demonstrations.

Finn Varney demonstrates traditional apple pressing on both days, with opportunities to taste fruit juices and blend flavours. Garden tours run at 11:30 and 13:30, with apple-pruning talks at 10:30 and 14:30, plus a pumpkin trail and artwork by Clare Belbin and Bridget Gillespie. Saturday includes garden advice from Maxine Nelson; Sunday features Tom Trimmins wood carving, Angela Cole willow weaving and Iona Crawford Topp pottery demonstrations. Conservation and beekeeping groups attend both days. The event opens 10:00–16:00, with last entry at 15:00.
