The tour lasts approximately 1 hour 15 minutes and covers a limited selection of rooms, including stairs and underground passages. A mince pie and a glass of mulled wine are included in the ticket price, and the event raises funds for the Hoghton Tower Preservation Trust. Visitors are advised to dress warmly for the cold, historic building with uneven floors.
