The Archive Experience
About
The museum's Archivist and Curator present highlights from the Trixie Sullivan Collection of Jimi Hendrix management documents.
This session offers visitors a close look at the Trixie Sullivan Collection, previously unseen documents from Anim, the management company behind Jimi Hendrix, which Sullivan saved from destruction in the 1970s. Some items are displayed in the permanent Hendrix in London exhibition, but the session reveals further material not normally on show. The records shed light on the day-to-day management of Hendrix's career and the London music scene of the era, as well as Sullivan's own behind-the-scenes role in The Jimi Hendrix Experience's success.
