Christmas at the National Railway Museum
About
A festive season programme at the National Railway Museum featuring Father Christmas visits in a historic carriage, free family activities and seasonal events.
The museum's holiday programme runs across the festive season with a range of Christmas activities. Father Christmas and his elf meet children in a historic cosy carriage on selected December dates, with relaxed sessions available for young visitors with additional needs. Free family activities include writing letters to Father Christmas, winter science at STEM Shed stations and calendar designing, and visitors can combine their visit with discounted entry to Wonderlab: The Bramall Gallery. Further seasonal events and musical performances are planned, with festive refreshments available in the museum cafés and afternoon teas aboard the Countess of York.
