About
A one-hour creative writing workshop for ages 9+ reimagining classic fairytales at Grand Opera House York.
Welcome to Storywood is a writing workshop for young storytellers aged 9+, guided by the mysterious Thread Keeper. Each session explores a different classic tale such as Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella or Peter Pan, inviting participants to ask "What if...?" and create their own stories through discussion, writing, drawing and storytelling. Every storyteller takes home an illustrated journal filled with activities and creative prompts. The workshop lasts one hour.
