Classic Tour and Museum

A 90-minute guided visit through Taylor’s working Victorian bellfoundry traces its history and craft. See the restoration yard, joinery shop where bell wheels and carillon claviers are made, tuning shop and casting-hall viewing platform; a short film introduces bellfounding.

The tour begins with an introduction to Taylor’s Bellfoundry, then follows the Victorian works through the yard, joinery shop, tuning shop and casting-hall viewing platform. The ticket also includes entry to the Interactive Museum. The visit lasts approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. Ages 9+; under-16s must be accompanied by an adult. Flat, closed shoes are required; in winter, dress warmly and avoid loose clothing. A carer ticket is free with evidence. The ticket includes an annual Interactive Museum pass, allowing a visit on the tour day and a return visit within one year. Advance booking is required at least 24 hours ahead; drop-ins are not guaranteed, so call on the day to check availability.
