Planes, Trains and Automobiles + Tarquin Gotch Q&A

John Hughes’ Thanksgiving road comedy follows salesman Del Griffith and marketing executive Neal Page on a disrupted journey home, alongside a Q&A with the film’s music supervisor Tarquin Gotch.

Neal Page is trying to reach his family in Chicago for Thanksgiving, but travel disruptions leave him sharing the journey with talkative salesman Del Griffith. Steve Martin and John Candy star in John Hughes’ odd-couple comedy. This Tyneside Cinema presentation includes a Q&A featuring music supervisor Tarquin Gotch; the published programme does not specify whether it takes place before or after the screening.
