About

A hands-on junior palaeontology workshop explores the evidence linking birds with their dinosaur ancestors.

Participants examine replica bones, eggs and footprints, compare a fossilised Tyrannosaurus rex egg with a duck egg and explore feathers, nesting and hunting behaviours. The workshop is part of Meet The Birds Time Forgot and runs every Saturday and Sunday throughout December 2026 and January 2027, 10:30–11:30 in the Discovery Room. Included with centre admission or free for WWT members.
