About
A free 90-minute guided tour of Church Gresley Cemetery highlighting Commonwealth war graves and the work of the CWGC.
The Commonwealth War Graves Commission runs a free guided tour of Swadlincote District (Church Gresley) Cemetery, led by an experienced volunteer guide. The walk covers scattered Commonwealth war graves and private graves from both World Wars, including civilian casualties from a nearby bombing, while explaining the Commission's work. The tour lasts about 90 minutes over roughly 1400 metres of paths and grass with uneven ground and slopes; wheelchair access is available and attendees should dress for the weather.
