CWGC Tours 2026 - Cannock Chase War Cemetery and German Military Cemetery

A free 90-minute guided tour of Cannock Chase War Cemetery and the German Military Cemetery, led by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.

The Commonwealth War Graves Commission leads a walking tour covering both Cannock Chase cemeteries, exploring the area's First World War role and the stories of those commemorated there. The neighbouring German Military Cemetery holds the graves of almost 5,000 German and Austrian casualties from both World Wars, and the tour follows the recent opening of its refurbished building and exhibition. The tour lasts around 90 minutes and covers about 1,200 metres on paths and grass with uneven ground; visitors should dress for the weather and wear suitable footwear.
