Christmas Decorations Through the Ages
About
Explore how Christmas was celebrated at Moseley Old Hall in the 1660s, 1940s and 1980s, as the decorated house reflects three periods in its history.
The seasonal display follows the Whitgreave family’s Twelve Days in the 1660s, the Wiggin family’s revival of the Hall in the 1940s and David Lee’s family life here in the 1980s. Visitors can explore at their own pace; volunteer-led house tours may be available informally. Exact published viewing sessions are 10:30–15:00 on 28–29 November; 4–7, 11–14 and 18–24 December; 27–31 December; and 1–3 January. No booking is required and normal admission applies. The table does not list 25–26 December or other intervening dates.
