Art History - Know Before You Go - Van Eyck "The Portraits"

A morning lecture by Chantal Brotherton-Radcliff previewing the National Gallery's Van Eyck portraits exhibition, with coffee from 9:30am.

This art history talk prepares attendees for the National Gallery exhibition bringing together Jan Van Eyck's portraits for the first time. Chantal Brotherton-Radcliff lectures on the exhibition, which features portraits of craftsmen, merchants and the artist's relatives rather than royalty, and marks the only time these works can be shown together. Coffee and tea are served from 9:30am, with the lecture starting at 10:00 and finishing by 12:15. The host club operates a dress code: no jeans or trainers.
